Hyderabad`s Famous Begum Bazaar To Shut By 5 pm As Covid-19 Cases Spike

Hyderabad`s famous Begum Bazaar along with other key markets will now remain closed after 5 pm from Friday. The Hyderabad Kirana Merchant Association decided in view of rising Covid-19 cases in the city.

Hyderabad`s famous Begum Bazaar along with other key markets will now remain closed after 5 pm from Friday. The Hyderabad Kirana Merchant Association decided in view of rising Covid-19 cases in the city.

The Shops in the market will open from 9 am to 5 pm, according to the instructions issued to traders following a meeting of executive members of the association. All the wholesale Kirana Stores in Begum Bazar, Chatri, Fish Market and Mitti-Ka-Sher will follow all the Covid-19 norms.

Telangana reported 1914 fresh cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday, while 5 people succumbed to the virus. There was a spike in the number of cases reported in urban centres of the state, GHMC reported 393 cases, Medchal-Malkajgiri 205, Nirmal 104, 179 from Nizamabad and Rangareddy received 169 cases on Tuesday.
