Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay on Tuesday participated in a massive roadshow to campaign for municipal polls in Warangal.

The country is already facing the brunt of the assembly election in the form of the Covid-19 outbreak. The Madras High Court also held the Election Commission responsible but it seems like Bhartiya Janta Party`s Telangana unit does not care. Local elections have been announced in Telangana and blatant violations of Covid-19 norms are evident in the state once again.

Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay on Tuesday participated in a massive roadshow to campaign for municipal polls in Warangal. Visuals from the event show countless individuals gathering without any concern of contracting the virus. Some of these images were later deleted by the party`s official social media handles. This comes at a time when more than 10 thousand cases are being reported in Telangana every day.

`The roadshow, which started from Vangapahad as part of the second instalment of the campaign, went on enthusiastically through Arepalli, Paidipally, Pocham Maidan, Mandi Bazaar and other places, said the party in a tweet.

A month-long aggressive campaign of the assembly elections in four states and a UT of Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Bengal and Pondicherry including roadshows by political parties, is being considered as one of the main causes of the second wave of Covid -19.
