Telangana CM KCR tests Negative for Covid-19, his son KT Rama Rao still under isolation

Earlier, his son and Telangana IT, Industry Minister KT Rama Rao also tested positive for Covid-19, KTR along and CM Chandrasekhar Rao were under isolation at their farmhouse.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has tested negative for Covid-19 on Wednesday. He contracted the virus last week and was under home isolation. According to an official report, the chief minister`s personal physician, Dr MV Rao and a team performed rapid antigen test and RT-PCR test on the chief minister.

The Rapid antigen test result came negative, while the RT-PCR test results are expected to be out by tomorrow.

Earlier, his son and Telangana IT, Industry Minister KT Rama Rao also tested positive for Covid-19, KTR along and CM Chandrasekhar Rao were under isolation at their farmhouse.

A team of doctors was monitoring the health of KCR. He tested positive after being involved in the by-election campaign in Nagarjunasagar, Telangana. More than a dozen other leaders who were part of the campaign have also tested positive, but now all are under quarantine.
