This exemption is valid for one year or till the next order by the state government; however, this experiment will be limited to visibility limits. The ministry has made it clear in its statement that the vaccine will be delivered through drone experimentally. The Ministry had informed in this regard that it has given a conditional exemption to the Telangana government under the Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Rules-2021.

Under this relaxation, drones will be used to deliver the vaccine experimentally within the visibility limit.

It has been clarified in the order issued by the ministry, "This exemption to the state government will be valid only for the next one year or till the next order." Permission to do research on delivery was given.

It is believed that the trial of the drone to vaccine delivery program will begin by the end of May. However, no specific date has been set in this regard. The government hopes that if it is successful, the work of delivering the vaccine through the drone can be accelerated.
