The Hyderabad MP bashed BJP`s vaccination policy in a series of tweets after PM Modi`s address

PM Narendra Modi`s decision of free vaccination for 18+ has drawn heavy criticism. Many are accusing the BJP government of taking this decision only after the supreme court intervened in this matter, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi are some of the leaders who didn`t hold back their words on the delayed response of the Modi government.

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi said on Monday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi`s announcement by the Center to provide free vaccines to states to vaccinate all people above the age of 18 years came after the intervention of the Supreme Court.

The Hyderabad MP bashed BJP`s vaccination policy in a series of tweets after PM Modi`s address; he said that the 25 percent quota of private hospitals will continue so that the rich will get easier while the poor will have to wait for the availability of the vaccine.

Owaisi tweeted saying, ``Thanks to PMO India for another episode of an unnecessary lecture that could have been a press release. Reversal of vax policy seems to be result of SC`s order. Although blame of a terrible vaccine policy has been put on states, it`s Modi who failed to ensure vax supply``

He alleged that no money was spent till April to increase vaccine production and said that against 60 crore doses of vaccine till July, the country could get only eight crore doses per month.
