TDCCF chairman visits Karimnagar dairy

Dairy chairman Ch Rajeshwara Rao briefed about the dairy activities and the welfare programmes launched for the farmers and milching animals. The TSDDCF chairman along with Adilabad DCCB chairman M Damodar Reddy visited the Karimnagar dairy on Wednesday and inspected the premises including the plant, fodder growing area, and other areas of the dairy. knkmdns3.26: Telangana state dairy development cooperative federation chairman Loka Bhooma Reddy was all praise for the Karimnagar milk produce company limited albeit Karimnagar dairy for various measures for the increasing milk procurement and sales in the state. He said that he was planning to inspect the Amul dairy in Gujarat and Mother dairy in Delhi and follow their methods to increase milk procurement and sales. Dairy advisor V Hanumantha Reddy, MD P Shankar Reddy, DCCB vice chairman Mohan Reddy and CEO Satyanarayana and others were also present.

Dairy chairman Ch Rajeshwara Rao briefed about the dairy activities and the welfare programmes launched for the farmers and milching animals. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Bhooma Reddy appreciated the Karimnagar dairy for its welfare schemes to the farmers and their animals to increase the milk procurement. Inspired by the tripartite agreement scheme of Karimnagar dairy, he said that they would follow the scheme in other districts and distribute milching animals to increase the milk procurement. He said that he was planning to inspect the Amul dairy in Gujarat and Mother dairy in Delhi and follow their methods to increase milk procurement and sales. Stating that the presently the federation was procuring 4 lakh litres of milk per day from entire state, he said that they would take measures to increase the procurement to 10 lakh litres and increase the sales by opening more parlours in the state. He also planted a sapling on the occasion and garlanded the statue of Father of Milk Revolution Dr Verghese Kurien and former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao on the premises.
