Chandrasekhar Rao while flagging off the Haj pilgrims of the State said, “I am the Chief Servant of the State and not the Chief Minister of the State”. He requested the Haj pilgrims to pray for the welfare, peace and tranquility of the people of the State during their Haj. It has left behind all the States by making excellent arrangements for the Haj pilgrims. has made arrangements for accommodating Haj pilgrims of the State in Nizam Rubat. An attempt would be made to get the assets of erstwhile Hyderabad State from other countries.

Chandrasekhar Rao while flagging off the Haj pilgrims of the State said, “I am the Chief Servant of the State and not the Chief Minister of the State”. He told that State Govt. has made arrangements for accommodating Haj pilgrims of the State in Nizam Rubat. An attempt would be made to get the assets of erstwhile Hyderabad State from other countries. Remembering the rulers of Hyderabad, he mentioned that the Nizam of Hyderabad had extended financial help to Govt. of India by giving 6 tons of gold at the time of Chinese aggression. Making a reference to the speech made by Mahatma Gandhi, Mr. KCR told the Gandhiji himself had praised the ruler of Hyderabad and the people of the State for maintaining communal harmony and had said that the people of North India should learn a lesson from the people of Hyderabad. He further said that those who oppose the Nizam of Hyderabad are distorting history. Present on this occasion were Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Dy. CM of TS, Mr. Mohammed Saleem, Chairman Telangana Wakf Board, Mr. Mohammed Farooq Husain, TRS MLC, Mr. B. Ram Mohan, Mayor of GHMC, Mr. Jafar Husain Meraj, Mr. S.A. Aleem, Chairman, HUDCO, Mr. Yousuf Zahid, Chairman, Khadi Board, Mr. Akbar Husain, Chairman Telangana Minorities Finance Corporation, Mr. A.K. Khan, Advisor to Govt. on Minority Affairs. Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel, IAS, Secretary, Dept. of Minorities Welfare, Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Special Officer, Telangana Haj Committee, Mr. Syed Shah Noorul Haq Qadri, Mr. Masihullah, Mr. Zainul Abedeen and others. Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Mohammed Ali told that Govt. of Telangana ranks first in the implementation of welfare programs for minorities. It has left behind all the States by making excellent arrangements for the Haj pilgrims. He had termed Mr. KCR the Messiah of the Muslims. He has no parallel among the Andhra rulers. He requested the Haj pilgrims to pray for the welfare, peace and tranquility of the people of the State during their Haj. Prof. S.A. Shukoor conducted the program.
