No militant group has claimed responsibility for the explosion till the time of filing this report. The injured duo, who suffered minor splinter injuries, were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, the source added. IMPHAL: Two migrant workers were injured in an IED explosion at a makeshift camp near a power substation in the Thoubal Khunou area of Thoubal district on Sunday night.The bomb, suspected to have been planted by rebels, went off around 8.30 pm injuring Md Salamuddin Ali (18) and Ruhidur Haque (21), all from Assam 's Kamrup district, a police source said. Police have registered an FIR to investigate the motive behind the explosion.Following the blast, security has been beefed up in and around the area which comes under the jurisdiction of Thoubal police station.
