IMPHAL: A two-day national seminar on 'Atomic Energy and Radiations for Societal Development' began at DM College in Imphal on Wednesday.Education minister Thokchom Radheshyam Singh inaugurated the event. Dhanamanjuri University VC Deleep Singh said the seminar will focus on the utility of atomic energy and radiation in the health, medicine and agriculture sectors. It will also give an opportunity to budding scientists to interact with eminent scientists from prominent institutions, he added.
