Farmers and the poor are still suffering," said Manipur PCC president and senior legislator TN Haokip. Stressing that the International Monetary Fund had already warned that if the trend continued the nation would face its worst financial crisis, Haokip demanded dissolution of the BJP-led NDA government and resignation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the blunder.Echoing Haokip, Manipur PCC vice-president and former MLA T Mangibabu questioned the Centre as to where the black money the Prime Minister had assured to distribute among the people after demonetisation had gone.
