IMPHAL: Police on Monday evening busted an illegal Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) factory in Thoubal district of Manipur and confiscated some manufacturing materials and duplicate products.Thoubal Superintendent of police S Ibomcha Singh on Tuesday told reporters that based on a specific information, the district police and commandos raided a house at Thoubal Athokpam area and seized the items. The confiscated items - 120 duplicate (IMFL) rum bottles, ten plastic jerricans, a large number of bottle caps, 200 empty bottles, four wooden frames for screen printing and certain chemicals - have been sent to food safety unit for investigation, the SP added.
