Chief minister N Biren Singh on Monday said the state government is discussing the possibility of the imposition of a state-wide total lockdown to prevent the spread of the viral infection.

Chief minister N Biren Singh on Monday said the state government is discussing the possibility of the imposition of a state-wide total lockdown to prevent the spread of the viral infection.

Total lockdown would be imposed in these areas to prevent further spread he said. The cumulative number of deaths in the state is 117 while the number of active and recovered cases is 3,748 and 11,913 respectively. With the recovery of 172 patients in the past 24 hours, the recovery rate in the state is 75.50 percent
