COVID19 Update; 3 Deaths 86 new Cases and 751 Recoveries

With 751 recoveries recorded, the recovery rate has stooped up to 97.16 per cent, almost three per cent higher than 94.81 per cent recorded on Monday.

The Pandemic has been equally harsh for most part of the country. On Monday, Three people from west and East Imphal lost their lives to Covid19. In last 24 hours, two more people died of the virus ,a man aged 34 years and a woman aged 75 years died of Covid-19-related complications at JNIMS and RIMS hospitals respectively taking the state’s toll to 363.

While, 86 new active cases were registered in last 24 hours taking the toll to 28,418 which means the number of active cases has drastically declined to 442.

The biggest steer is in the number of recovery cases, with 751 recoveries recorded. The rate has stooped up to 97.16 per cent, almost three per cent higher than 94.81 per cent recorded on Monday.

As of Tuesday, 528,680 people were screened at various entry points into the state, while 482,953 individuals were tested for the disease
