Indore: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to inaugurate 16 projects in cities of Madhya Pradesh during his proposed visit here on June 23.As per the proposed programme, Modi will visit Indore and Rajgarh to address a public meeting and will also inaugurate houses developed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Singroli, Hoshangabad, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Ratlam, Burhanpur and Chhindwara from the stage with uninterrupted live broadcast using outside broadcasting (OB) technology.Similarly, Modi will inaugurate sewerage project under AMRUT scheme in Sehore and Bhind, integrated solid waste management project in Katni, cement concrete road under CM Urban Infrastructure Development Scheme in Bijawar. He will inaugurate development work under Smart City Project and Urban Transport Project under AMRUT in Indore.“We have been helping in arrangements for live telecast of PM’s public address in 16 cities of the state with the use of OB technology,” a senior administrative official said.In Indore, Modi may interact with some beneficiaries of the Central government-run schemes. Therefore, local administration has shortlisted 15 beneficiaries, including nine of Depalpur and six of Mhowgoan.As per the proposed programme received by the administration, the PM’s airplane will land at Bhopal airport and will fly to Rajgarh through a helicopter. During the event, Modi will inaugurate an irrigation project in Mohanpura and a drinking water project from the stage.He will then reach Indore airport at 3:05pm and will go to at Nehru Stadium, where a public meeting will be organised at 3:40pm. He will return Delhi at 5:15pm.Divisional commissioner, ADG and district collector on Monday visited Nehru Stadium and the airport to take stock of arrangements being made ahead of the PM’s visit. All arrangements for the PM’s visit will get completed by June 21, they said.
