Amit Shah to flag off BJP's poll campaign in MP from Ujjain

"Amit Shah will be the chief guest of flagging off ceremony of Jan Ashirwad Yatra. We will connect to people with the yatra that will cover the state in 55 days. INDORE: BJP president Amit Shah will flag-off party’s poll campaign in the form of chief minister Shivraj Singh chouhan’s Jan Aashirwad Yatra from Ujjain on July 14.Though the party leaders are stopping short of announcing the canvassing for coming assembly polls in November, they claimed that the yatra will be an attempt to bring people into party fold by highlighting achievements of the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government. He will hold 705 public meetings and stage over 500 road shows.A party sources said chief minsters of BJP ruled states will also join him in the yatra that will culminate in Bhopal on September 25.Chouhan had taken out similar yatras in 2008 and 2013, ahead of the assembly elections from Ujjain – considered to be lucky place for parties to start electioneering. I am sure that we will form the government after the next assembly polls," Union minister rural development, panchayati raj and mines, Narendra Singh Tomar , told reporters in Ujjain.Shah will flag off the yatra after seeking blessings at the Mahakaleshwar temple Chouhan will move across the state in a bus converted as "chariot" to address public rallies during the yatra.
