Bharatnatyam dancers Apoorva Jayaram and Shweta Prachand performed with their troupe in front of a delighted audience in the city recently. The dance was performed to a Sanskrit shlok Kararavindena Padaravindam followed by a dance on Yasmin Nratyayati. Besides this, a dance on raga Bageshri showed the emotion of woman who is waiting to unite with her lover. Apoorva, who also happens to be a doctorate in Astronomy teamed up with Shweta to showcase classical performances in the city. The classical dance depicted the charm and beauty of the child Lord Krishna.Further on, artistes performed a dance on Ka esha mathura, vedi mitho ghate in raga Mand, a melodious Raga which is quite difficult to perform.
