INDORE: Indore cell of state cyber police on Saturday arrested a man who was involved in a child auction pornography group which was operational across several countries.Youths from 28 nations were part of this group where videos and photos of children below 18 years of age involved in sexual activities were made available.Cyber cell SP Jitendra Singh said that he had received information from Interpol about operations of this group and involvement of a man from Madhya Pradesh in it.Police said that the group was named Groupo De Leilao, (an auction group) and was being operated from Portugal “Working on the information which was received from Interpol, we arrested a man from Dhar who was sending and receiving such pornographic clips on the group. The accused was arrested and we also received some chats from him in which he has asked people to provide him with child porn,” said Singh.SP said that Brazil police was also investigating this group and its activities. The group offered pornographic videos of children below 18 years of age.Police said Vinod Baghel, son of Bholya Baghel, resident of Kukshi in Dhar was arrested and booked under IPC. Police said that they had received information from CID about this man who was a part of the group.Cyber police had also busted a similar international group a few months ago and an engineer, a trader and a student were arrested in the case.Police said that several such arrests have been made recently to make people aware about the illegal and heinous crime. The people who engage in such activities may end up becoming offenders. So it is very important that such things are stopped at the initial stage.
