on Friday INDORE: A man attempting to molest a class six girl in Bhavna Nagar, got a taste of her steel, literally. The brave girl swung a steel pan , cracking it hard on his head, thwarting the molestation bidThe 25-year-old man named Deepesh, who had barged into her house when she was alone, fled the spot with a bleeding bump on his head.The girl was washing utensils in the kitchen when the accused tried to force himself on her. Initially, she raised an alarm, forcing him to withdraw his moves. However, he returned a few minutes later and tried to overpower the girl, Bhanwarkuan police said.She picked up a pan that was handy and launched a scathing attack on the molester, they said. Taken aback by the fury with which the girl resisted him, the accused fled the spot, holding his head.The girl narrated her ordeal when her parents returned from their daily labour work, following which the police were approached.Bhanwarkuan police station in-charge Sanjay Shukla said, “Deepesh has been booked for house-trespass after preparation for hurt, assault or wrongful restraint, wrongful confinement and assault or use of criminal force with intent to disrobe a woman under IPC and relevant sections of the POCSO Act.The accused was yet to be arrested.
