Barwani july 15 Man kills wife after dispute over cooking mutton

Barwani: The Rajpur police have arrested a driver for killing his wife after a dispute over cooking mutton on Sunday.Rajpur police station in charge BR Mujalde told TOI that the driver Chintu murder his 45-year-old wife Kalabai. The accused was produced before the court from where he was sent to judicial custody.Mujalde said that on July 11, Kalabai died at Rajpur government hospital during treatment. This made Chintu angry and in a fit of rage he killed his wife.Kalabai parents did not allow Chintu to perform her last rites in Rajpur and they took the body to Pati. There was no superficial injury, but, the postmortem report revealed that she sustained injuries on her ribs and her liver were badly damaged.During the investigation, 16-year-old elder daughter of the deceased told police that after a dispute over cooking mutton Chintu hit Kalabai with an iron rod.Mujalde said that Chintu had brought mutton but Kalabai didn't prepare it for some reason.
