INDORE: A man and his son were hacked to death , while his father critically injured when nearly half-a-dozen masked robbers attacked them with sharped-edged weapon and made away with a bag containing Rs 8 lakh in Betma area late on Sunday night.The victims were returning from their shop and had got down from their SUV in front of their house in Life City Colony, when the attack took place, Betma police said.The accused, armed with swords and sickle, hacked Vidyanchal Gulta, 45, and his son Sandeep Gupta, 24, to death, they said, adding his father Sudama Gupta, sustained critical injuries and was rushed to a hospital.Doctors claimed that Sudama’s hand was chopped off and was being operated upon.Investigating officers suspect that the accused knew about the victims carrying cash from their wholesale grocery shop in Sagour Kuti area.A case was registered against the accused and further action was on.
