INDORE: Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday made a scathing attack on Congress accusing it of 'believing black magic' and attempting to garner publicity by churning religious sentiments. "Nowadays, leaders of Congress have believe more in 'tona totka' (black magic). "The Congress should work at the ground level rather than indulging in this 'political gimmicks', he added.To a query, he said, "Because of indulging in gimmicks, Congress 'I' has now become Congress 'P'. "Congress has objections to my yatra and it is strange ways of registering the objection," he said, referring to recent letter by Congress state president Kamal Nath to Lord Mahakal of Ujjain temple. They are hungry of publicity," Chouhan said adding "if the Congress leaders revere Lord Mahaka, they should seek His refuge and offer prayers.

Whether the coconut was thrown away or not, I don't know; but the Congress is indulging black magic," Chouhan told reporters in Ratlam The chief minister did not name Congress state campaign head Jyotiraditya Scindia, whose video about the coconut during his tour from Rewa to Khajuraho, had gone viral on social media evoking strong reactions from different quarters.Chouhan, who was taking out the Jan Ashirwad Yatra, said the state was surging ahead in the development map, but the Congress was indulging in 'politics of allegations'. "Congress has objections to my yatra and it is strange ways of registering the objection," he said, referring to recent letter by Congress state president Kamal Nath to Lord Mahakal of Ujjain temple."Congress is now writing letter to Lord Mahakal. They are hungry of publicity," Chouhan said adding "if the Congress leaders revere Lord Mahaka, they should seek His refuge and offer prayers."The Congress should work at the ground level rather than indulging in this 'political gimmicks', he added.To a query, he said, "Because of indulging in gimmicks, Congress 'I' has now become Congress 'P'. Only restricted in Punjab and Puducherry. Congress will not gain anything by misleading people."
