Painting and craft exhibition brings a riot of colours

SundayBringing on one platform the varied art forms of painting and craft items, a two day painting exhibition was organized on Saturday andat the Saket community hall of the city by artists from the city. A total of 60 art works were showcased by 30 artists. Among them were paintings of Gods including Radha Krishna paintings, Lord Ganesha’s paintings etc. Students and patrons of Varshman Kala Ashram showcased their talents in abstract, figurative, landscapes and other styles of paintings.While some of the participating artists were pursuing a course in fine arts, others displayed their work created as a hobby.
