The college theatre group of EMRC DAVV recently staged a play- ‘Saiyaan Bhai Kotwal’ in their college auditorium. Written and directed by a student, Aman Jadhav , the play was performed by student artists at their college auditorium. The drama showcased nepotism in working culture with increasing corruption in the chain of police department and everybody who holds power. The play revolves around the story of running away of three policemen from responsibilities to get their own work done without any problems.“This is the situation of the world today, it has become a customary ritual to misuse the power of the assigned seat for the one who holds power. Thus, we tried to spread these words with this humorous tragedy where nepotism goes wrong through our performance”, shares Aman. With loads of hard work and long day practice sessions, the artists made the play a huge success among the students and was appreciated by everybody present there.- Tanya Choudhary
