INDORE: Spiritual leader of Bohra Muslims, Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin on Saturday during his address said that a person should always keep courage knowledge and wealth hidden from others.Syedna was delivering va’az on the fourth day of Ashara Mubaraka. While reading the noah and marsiya, devotees remembered Ali as well besides Imam Hussain. Invoking Imam Hussain, he urged the community members to be as patient as Hussain and control their anger as human becomes a devil when angry.“Imam Hussain exhibited a lot of patience while undergoing all the sufferings. We should keep pigeons,” said community member Jamila Jaliwala. “Syedna during the va’az said that pigeons are good as they take away all the negativity and so we should not shoo away pigeons, when they sit at our place.

He stayed empty stomach for three days and yet he behaved amicably with enemies. We should also have this important quality.”Syedna also shared the story of Hussain’s youngest child Ali Asgar.He said, “When Imam Hussain took his six months old son, Ali Asgar to Yezid camp as the child was thirsty and the enemies instead of giving the child water, hit him with the sword in his throat, the devotees started wailing chanting ya Ali, ya Ali.” “They did not even have mercy on an innocent child, who was only six months old. Till the day we live we have to ensure that we wail for Imam Hussain and all his beloved, who were martyred at Karbala,” he said.Talking to TOI, community member Johar Manpurwala said, “Syedna sahib blessed small children across the world on this day after mentioning the martyrdom of Ali Asgar.”Syedna advised devotees to taste salt before having any meal as it activates the saliva. He said that one should always eat food of his hard work. “Halal ka rizak loge or Bismillah kar ke khaoge toh bimar nahi hoge (If you eat of your hardwork, and remember God before eating, you will not fall ill). Work honestly. Never curse anyone especially during the prayers. Never backbite anyone,” he said.Syedna felt that the days of Ashara Mubaraka have been passing quickly.
