Traders to protest against Indore Municipal Corporation

The staff had heated argument with traders as they protested the IMC’s action of searching their house. The team recovered banned plastic bags from their possession.The traders alleged that the IMC staff tried to search their houses as well. It happened a day after IMC’s health department officials imposed penalty on two of the traders, Meera Kumar and SV Patel, in the area.On Saturday, a team IMC’s health department searched two shops in the area. A decision in this regard was taken in a meeting of traders on Sunday.“We don’t have a problem with IMC’s drive, but its staff’s behaviour has started causing trouble to us,” said a trader Dinesh Jain.The traders complained that the civic body staff barged in their shops and misbehaved with them.
