BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia, mother admitted in hospital with Covid-like symptoms

INDORE: The state narcotics wing on Monday arrested a man carrying opium worth Rs 17 lakh in the international market in Mandsaur.The accused was transporting opium to Rajasthan from Madhya Pradesh for the past couple of months.The narcotics wing had received a tip-off about his movements following which a trap was laid on Neemuch-Mandsaur road, official sources said.The accused, Rustam Khan Pathan, a resident of Kanora in Rajasthan, was stopped by the narcotics team while he was riding a motorcycle, they said adding the police found 1.7kg opium from his possession.The contraband was seized and a case was registered against Pathan under relevant sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
