Indore: Citizens of Indore have been actively participating in Swachh Survekshan ever since it was launched by the government. Urban local bodies’ officials were also explained about how to obtain maximum points etc.Senior officials from the Centre including Dr Ramakant, Assistant Adviser CPHEEO and Nilesh Dubey, Swachh Bharat Mission’s deputy director also spoke to participants and highlighted major points about Swachh Survekshan 2019. The participants also raised their concerns and queries regarding the verification process and documentations. Other urban local bodies should also learn from this, said Anil Prakash, national project implementation unit head of Swachh Bharat Mission on Tuesday.Prakash was addressing a workshop organized under Swachh Survekshan 2019 at Brilliant Convention Centre.The day-long workshop which was attended by 200 officials from urban local bodies and public representatives of Ujjain, Bhopal and Indore divisions, focused on highlighting changes in parameters for 2019 survey.He also highlighted major points and guidelines of garbage free cities/ODF+ and ODF ++ protocol.
