Bold brushstrokes and colours at Pritamlal Dua

Jain’s art work is based on contemporary and abstract art. Landscapes or rural India specially bringing to fore the traditional culture of the region, painted in vivid colors and bold strokes were exhibited at a two day painting exhibition put up at Indore’s Pritamlal Dua art gallery on Saturday and Sunday. Visitors to the gallery were quite taken by the new experiments of the artistes with not just the themes, but colours and styles too. The culture of Rajasthan , dress up and vibrancy of tribal women, beauty of Odisha and other places are shown in the paintings by Singh. The painting exhibition also had an essence of new experiments in the field of art by new artist Malay Jain in contrast to the more experienced hand of Kusum Singh.
