BJP leaders form BBC-BJP Bachao committee in constituency

Indore: Enraged over the ticket being given from Thandla constituency to independent candidate Kal Singh Bhabhar, the BJP leaders have formed BBC- BJP Bachao Committee in their constituency. People whom I defeated in the last elections are making these allegations,” Kal Singh Bhabhar, MLA from Thandla said.Thandla constituency has 302 booths and this year the competition will be between Kal Singh Bhabhar from BJP and Veer Singh Bhuria from Congress. All of them will be working for BJP now and urging people to vote for BJP. For this, he was debarred from party for six years. The BJP workers there want to save BJP and Thandla seat from taking a drubbing from Congress in assembly elections.The committee is headed by Dilip Singh Katara, Rusmal Charpota, Raju Damor and Suhsila Bhabhar, who are protesting against the ticket being given to an outsider and an ousted member of the party.“During last elections, Kal Singh Bhabhar turned rebellious and fought elections independently.

He is still debarred and does not deserve BJP ticket,” Rusmal Charpota, a BBC member said.While Bhabhar had attained victory as an independent candidate, party workers are claiming that voters are no longer with him.“There is no public support for Bhabhar, whereas we who have been with BJP for such a long time have reached to voters at booth level. We have sarpanchs, janpad officials, mandal presidents and everyone with us who is supporting BJP and not this outsider,” Dilip Singh Katara said.Meanwhile, Kal Singh Bhabhar, who is the one at receiving end of the protest, has refused to take the protests seriously and is focusing on reaching to voters through his loyal party workers.“When Dilip Singh Bhuria had won the general assembly elections, it was my workers who had worked on field to get him victory. All of them will be working for BJP now and urging people to vote for BJP. People whom I defeated in the last elections are making these allegations,” Kal Singh Bhabhar, MLA from Thandla said.Thandla constituency has 302 booths and this year the competition will be between Kal Singh Bhabhar from BJP and Veer Singh Bhuria from Congress.
