In Dhar, rivals feel the same pain

Six candidates will contest from Sardarpur and Gandhwani seats, five in Kukshi and Manawar, ten in Dharampuri whereas 12 in Dhar. Senior Congress leader Rajwardhan Singh Dattigaon had reached Sardarpur to placate his sentiments, but Vasuniya did not meet him and decided to contest independently from the seat. He was removed from BJP on Thursday. Agarwal had protested against a ticket to an outsider Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat as against the local leaders who had put in their hard work for the party.After the candidates withdrew their nomination forms on Wednesday, total 52 candidates will now fight from the seven seats in Dhar district. Vasuniya’s candidature will now affect Sanjay Baghel from BJP and Pratap Grewal from Congress.BJP rebel from Badnawar Rajesh Agarwal, who had been expe cting a ticket since 2013 finally took a stand this time and did not listen to party seniors.

INDORE: Triangular contests are on cards in Badnawar , Manawar and Sardarpur assembly constituencies of of Dhar district with both Congress and BJP failing to quell rebellion.Even after trying very hard, BJP’s Kailash Vijayvargiya and Congress’ Rajwardhan Dattigaon failed to persuade rebels to support the party instead of contesting as independents.While leaders were able to bring back to party fold some candidates, the remaining ones will now become big hurdles for both the parties.In Manawar assembly constituency, Jagdeesh Muwel, rebel from BJP, upset plans of both Dr Hiralal Alawa from Congress and Ranjana Baghel from BJP.Sardarpur Congress rebel and former janpad president Karan Singh Vasuniya also decided to remain in the battle and ignored the pleas of the party leaders.
