INDORE: Hours after excise department sealed bar of Shree Madhav Club for flouting poll code in Ujjain, police on Saturday night registered cases against two persons for using loudspeakers at the club beyond the prescribed time limit of 10pm.Following a complaint, Neelganga police registered cases against the operator of the sound systems and speakers and its owner for operating them till 11.30pm.Police flying squad member Kailash Chouhan said the case was registered against the operator Manish Chouhan and the owner Kuldeep Singh Gaur under Madhya Pradesh Kolahal Niyantral Adhiniyam, 1985.Four speakers, a sound system , two monitors and two cordless mikes were seized from the spot.The action came close to the heels of excise department sealing the club’s bar following complaints about violation of the model code of conduct in organizing dinner parties for members of a specific political party.The excise team also found that FL-4 licence norms were also violated by keeping the bar closed at around 6pm.Shree Madhav Club is an elite club chairperson of which is the divisional commissioner.
