MY Hospital only completed paper formalities to get fire NOC

The petitioner has alleged in rejoinder that MY Hospital only has a provisional NOC for its fire safety . “The hospital had submitted in its reply that they had received an amount of Rs 1.65 crore for getting fire NOC and setting up necessary systems in the hospital. INDORE: MY Hospital has only completed paper formalities to get fire NOC , high court was told on Thursday, in the PIL filed after a fire broke out in neonatal ICU of MYH.A division bench of Chief Justice SK Seth and Justice Rohit Arya granted time to state government to study the same. However, no documents have been submitted by the hospital on record showing how the funds have been spent or what has been done with the above amount,” advocate Shanno Shagufta Khan, petitioner’s counsel said. The hospital has not produced on record any documents to show if other mandatory conditions to acquire fire NOC have been complied with or not.It has also been alleged that the hospital has not provided on record designs of electrical wiring and fire load as is required to be submitted before the court.
