DAVV staff union gets new president

Rakesh Silawat of Devi Ahilya Panel got 276 and became vice-president, whereas his opponent Bhagya Shrinirantar received 98 votes. Chain Singh Yadav of Jai Hind Ekta Panel became secretary by defeating Mahendra Shrivastav. We had done a lot of impending work and we are planning to continue our work for betterment of the employees,” Yadav said.

Yadav, who got 261 votes, defeated Ramesh Kushwaha of Devi Ahilya Panel by 119 votes.Out of 522 voters, 476 employees had voted for the two leading parties- Devi Ahilya Panel and Jai Hind Ekta Panel.“This is my second victory and it feels like the responsibility has doubled. We had done a lot of impending work and we are planning to continue our work for betterment of the employees,” Yadav said. Rakesh Silawat of Devi Ahilya Panel got 276 and became vice-president, whereas his opponent Bhagya Shrinirantar received 98 votes. Chain Singh Yadav of Jai Hind Ekta Panel became secretary by defeating Mahendra Shrivastav. Also, Mahesh Shrivas of the panel was elected as treasurer. He defeated Jitendra Naik. Kamal Jaiswal and Prakash Surya became joint-secretaries.“Every time, there are some of the voters, who are either unwell or out of station and don’t vote. This election happens after every two year. Jai Hind Ekta Panel has won with majority,” ex-vice-president Ramesh Kush said.
