Indore: Ahead of Lok Sabha polls, BJP is all set to ‘polarize’ people over Pulwama terror attack in the name of taking revenge from Pakistan but Congress workers should ‘expose’ Centre’s failure to avert such incidents, AICC office-bearer and observer for Indore district Jot Singh Bisht said here on Monday.“While addressing party workers in a meeting to review preparations of upcoming elections, Bisht said that using social media platform, BJP is defaming Congress on Pulwama terror attack while truth is that their MP (Nepal Singh) has said that people join Army to die. The saffron party wanted to use the incident to garner public support and therefore, Congress workers should ‘expose’ them,” Congress city wing president Vinay Bakliwal told TOI.He added that after Pulwama attack shocked the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP chief Amit Shah and UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath was busy holding public meetings.“BJP asks what Congress has done in 60 years. We have prepared a list of widespread developments carried out by our party,” said Bakliwal, adding that party spokespersons are trained to answer saffron party’s questions and also taking account of what have they (BJP) have done in last five years.He added that Bisht along with another observer, Yunus Velim have started preparing ground report, taking feedback from party leaders, workers and searching a suitable candidate capable of winning Indore Lok Sabha seat.“The party workers have been encouraged and asked to publicize steps taken by Congress-led state government in MP and seek public support ahead of general elections,” Bakliwal said.
