Fake recognition to schools State urged to oust accused

Private schools including Divya Shakti School (Manoramaganj), Hargovind Public School (Betma), Shri-G International School (Mhow Gaon), The Apex Academy and Play School (Gautampura), St Umar Academy (Old Palasia), Birla Open Minds International School, Bombay Public School (Dewas Naka) and Shreeji International School (Gawali Palasia) have been given recognition. “In the statements, BRCs have denied their involvement,” Meena said.She added that an application has been forwarded to police to register FIR and examine involvement of Parihar, all four BRCs, district project coordinator (DPC) and then in charge district education officer (DEO) Akshay Singh Rathore and management of all nine schools.“In a probe launched from our end, Parihar has confessed to committing the crime using digital signature of Rathore while he also claimed of being pressurized from BRCs to issue recognition to nine schools and thus, a police investigation has been sought,” Meena said. Indore: District administration has approached state government to terminate services of a contractual programmer of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, who has allegedly confessed to providing recognition to nine schools through fraudulent means and has also initiated a probe into alleged involvement of four block resource coordinators (BRCs) in the case.“Based on contractor Dhirendra Parihar’s confession, the state government has been approached to terminate his services,” zila panchayat CEO Neha Meena told TOI.She added that statements of all four BRCs — Ashok Joshi (Urban-1), Sanjay Nelson (Janpad Shiksha Kendra, Mhow) and Shravan Sharma (Janpad Shiksha Kendra, Depalpur) — were recorded on Monday for allegedly pressurizing Parihar, as he mentioned in his written statements to ZP CEO and Rajeev Bhawsar (Janpad Shiksha Kendra, Sanwer) for allegedly forcing the programmer to provide recognition to one school by bypassing rules.
