There are around nine departments in the OPD building including dermatology, orthopaedic, medicine, surgery, gynaecology, chest and TB, psychiatry, ENT and ophthalmology which has around 150 doctors, PG students, senior and junior resident doctors.The OPD also includes radio diagnosis and laboratories that support departments for clinical procedures. There are more than 300 doctors in OPD every day. The actual time of entry for a doctor is 8:30 am, which continues till 1:30pm.MGM spokesperson Dr Rahul Rokade said, “Recently, divisional commissioner has directed college management to improve services of OPD by starting biometrics and e-hospital system so that patients do not have to wait for admission slips. The biometric system will be started within a week while e-hospital system is under construction and will be launched soon.”
