3 drug peddlers nabbed in a day

Indore: Narcotics wing of Mandsaur district arrested a man with 2.2kg of opium worth Rs 4.4 lakh on Saturday.The man, Lakshmi Narayan, was held from Banjari Balaji area during a special drive. He was booked under NDPS Act, said police.In another incident, two men, Pawan Bhavsar and Vijay Dayaram, were arrested with 68kg of poppy husk from near Bhalot road. He is a resident of Ravti village.
