INDORE: A 10-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide after being scolded by his sister and grandmother over some mischief in Pancham ki Fel on Saturday.Ishant Sisodiya, a Class 7 student, was playing with his elder sister Nandini on Saturday afternoon when their parents were not at home. Their grandmother scolded him for his mischievous acts and he didn’t listen to her. She then called his father to complain about him. Upset over it, Ishant locked himself in his room.Police said when Nandini went to his room and he didn’t open the door, she called her grandmother and neighbours. They broke open the door and found him hanging from the ceiling with Nandini’s scarf. They rushed him to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.Investigative officer SI Bhawarlal Seroke said, “It’s suspicious that a 10-year-old boy hanged himself after being scolded. We have registered the case and statements of parents are yet to be recorded.”Ishant’s body was handed over to the family after postmortem exam.
