Indore: People travelling to and from Indore airport now have an airport shuttle service, that too without having to worry about unreliable cabs.Atal Indore City Service Ltd (AICTSL) on Friday introduced this dedicated taxi facility for air passengers on different routes in city covering more than 50 locations. There will be a 15-seater air-conditioned vehicle operating on each of these routes round the clock. “People now have both pick and drop options to and from the airport. This service aims to provide safe and hassle free commute for passengers, that too at reasonable rates,” airport director Aryama Sanyal told TOI. Sanyal said that this dedicated taxi service will be operated by private agency under the umbrella of AICTSL.“It provides affordable, convenient, and safe airport transportation for passengers looking to save money by sharing ride with other passengers,” she added.Manish Patel, an official associated with Airport Shuttle service, said that this service would be available on 24x7 on four different routes .“As an introductory offer, we are charging nominal price of Rs30 for each passenger. Later, it would be increased to Rs99,” he said, adding that passengers can also book this service through mobile application. It would also allow live tracking of vehicle. “We are also going to come out with a dedicated schedule for pick-up and drop service for each and every location,” added Patel.
