INDORE: BJP coordinator for Indore Parliamentary Constituency, Ramesh Mendola , on Saturday took a dig at Congress over its facing 'difficulties' in finding a suitable candidate for Indore Lok Sabha seat.Amid claims of local leaders, names of film and TV stars along with state-level leaders are also doing the rounds in Congress as ticket aspirants from Indore.
"There is still time left as Indore will vote in the last phase.
Indore has been selected as one of 500 places to be connected in the programme".
"Congress will have to import a candidate from outside the country as there is no worker and leader left in the party who can be fielded from Indore," Mendola said.He however justified why there was delay in the BJP in declaring its candidate from the constituency.
Whosoever is given the ticket, party workers will work for him/her as we will not contest on any face but on the symbol of lotus," Mendola said. The Indore-II MLA, who has recorded 'biggest' victory in terms of margin of votes in the assembly polls second time in a row, slammed Congress-led state government claiming that the party had been exposed only in three months and people have started remembering 'Mama Raj' ( Shivraj Singh Chouhan ).Addressing media persons, Mendola and BJP city president Gopikrishna Nema said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 16 launched a campaign 'Main Bhi Chowkidar ' and to garner support for it, he will on Sunday talk to people across the country through video conference.
