Sikligar caught with sword, jewels worth Rs 6 lakh seized, stolen from Ujjain

Dwarkapuri police have detained a Sikligar who was carrying a sword. The police searched the suspected weapon and found other jewelry including gold bangles. The accused had stolen these jewels from Ujjain. Police is investigating other accused by investigating the arrested accused.

According to the Dwarkapuri police, it was reported from the informer that Vidunagar was walking with a Sikligar sword near the Chaudhary Market. On this, the police team reached the spot and apprehended the accused. During questioning, he told his name to be Gurveer Singh Sikligar`s father Pyare Singh Sikligar (40) resident of Akashnagar Indore.

Upon searching, 4 gold witches and 2 gold patels were found from him. Police found a total of 130 grams of gold jewelry weighing from the accused. The value of the seized jewelry is estimated to be around Rs 6 lakh. The accused told these jewels of Ujjain to steal from them.
