On Thursday morning, there was a thick cloud over the sky, but it rained without rain. The movement of the sun continues between the clouds. Earlier on Wednesday, 8.8 mm of rain was recorded from morning to night. With this, a total of 14.2 inches (355.6 mm) of rain has been received so far. The rainy season will continue even further. This time it is 11 inches less rain than last year. By this time last year, 25 inches of water had been rained. The average rainfall of the district is 34 inches. In this sense, there has not been half the rain so far.

This time it is raining in pieces too. It was raining in 80 percent of the city, not enough in 20 percent. That`s why even after so much rain, the water in the tubewell is not coming properly.

Yashwant Sagar rises 1 feet of water

Even after 14 inches of rain, the water level of the ponds did not increase significantly. Bilawali pond has 22 feet of water which is stable. Yashwant Sagar, which has a capacity of 19 feet, has 14 feet of water. During the summer days only 13 feet of water was left.

This time more in the west, less rain in the east

Last year, a lot of water had fallen from East Indore Palasia to the bypass. This time the situation is reversed. West Indore was raining more water (14 inches). While in East Indore the figure is 13 inches. Similarly, water did not rain properly in the northern part of the Vijay Nagar region. While the city received heavy rainfall on Tuesday, there was a slight rain in the area. The same situation prevails in southern Indore (Naulakha region).
