He befriended a young woman on Facebook and expressed love. When he went to meet the young lady, he turned out to be his only wife. In the case, the constable`s wife has complained to the DIG with screenshots of the Facebook chatting between the two.
According to the information, Manisha, a Sukhaliya resident, complained to the DIG about her husband Satyam Bahl posted in the Special Branch of Police (SB). Manisha told that she was married to Satyam in February 2019. Three months after the wedding, Satyam and his family started harassing Manisha by demanding money and a car. In-laws mentally tortured Manisha. Troubled by this, she came to her maternal home and started living there.
They made friends, then called to meet for a relationship. While staying in the maiden Satyam did not call Manisha for several days, she got suspicious and started gathering information about her husband. Manisha created a fake ID called Ruhi Meher on Facebook and started talking to Satyam. Satyam expresses love and calls for physical relations. At first Manisha kept avoiding her, but when Satyam made pressure, she came to meet him, then the reality came out. Following the complaint of Manisha in the case, the DIG has directed the woman police station to take action.
