Great help from Reliance, gives 60 tonnes of Oxygen to Indore , promises 100 tonnes everyday

The tanker was decorated and the BJP leaders also performed a puja on the arrival of the tanker containing 60 tonnes of medical oxygen, which will be used to save the lives of COVID-19 patients. 

Reliance Industries Ltd on Saturday lends a helping hand to the Indore administration in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic by providing around 60 tonnes of medical oxygen. The Mega Corporation has also promised to provide 100 tonnes of oxygen to the city every day.

According to reports, a tanker from Gujarat`s Jamnagar reached Indore last night carrying 60 tonnes of oxygen amid its shortage in the city hospitals.                                                   

Madhya Pradesh Minister Tulsi Silavat and BJP`s Indore chief Gaurav Randive welcomed the tanker around 10 pm on Chandan Nagar`s Dhar Road.

While speaking to the media, Silavat said, "The oxygen tanker has been sent by Reliance Industries which will be extremely useful for the city."

"We thank Reliance for providing us with liquid oxygen in time of distress. It`s 60 tonnes and we have been told that every day we will be receiving 100 tonnes," he added.

Gaurav Randive also stressed that the medical oxygen tanker has come as a "lifeline" for the city.

He revealed that BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya had talked to Reliance Company regarding this, after which this tanker came.
