Indore:The web show Indori Ishq which has been shot in Indore with a storyline that relates to Indore in many ways has received great appreciation from viewers a day after its release on MX Player. The web series rated 8.5 by IMDb. He said that the response of the audience is very great and people are liking the series very much. Samit said “The series has received a great success in one day itself and there is more glory to achieve ahead”. I had a great time shooting this show in Mumbai and Indore exploring untapped locations with an extremely dedicated team.

Indore: The web show Indori Ishq which has been shot in Indore with a storyline that relates to Indore in many ways has received great appreciation from viewers a day after its release on MX Player. The web series rated 8.5 by IMDb. The shows writer-director-producer Samit Kakkad has crafted his first nine-episode finite series for the OTT space. He said that the response of the audience is very great and people are liking the series very much. Many websites have given good ratings to the series. Samit said “The series has received a great success in one day itself and there is more glory to achieve ahead”. The nine-episode show which launched on June 10 narrates Kunals story of love heartbreak at the hands of his lover Tara and its dire consequences. The shows teaser and trailer dropped online a fortnight ago was hugely appreciated by the young viewer base. Samit has previously directed films like Ashcharya Chak It Aayna Ka Bayna and Half Ticket which have all been lapped up by the audience for their technical brilliance and extremely realistic narratives. Samit said “As a filmmaker Ive honed the art of crafting stories in an edgy and realistic style - the emotions the pain the pleasures are all as real as it gets. With Indori Ishq I could delve into a young couples psyche which was fun for me. I had a great time shooting this show in Mumbai and Indore exploring untapped locations with an extremely dedicated team. We had extensive schedules and weve tapped both the cities in shades that have never been seen before.” Samits previous films Aayna Ka Bayna and Half Ticket have won plenty of accolades including the Ecumenical Jury Award at the 57th Zlin International Film Festival 2017.
