Ritu Sharma a student of MBA said that she and her friends came to the poha stall in Vijay Nagar to have breakfast together on the first day of the unlock. However since eating at the shop is not allowed (only take-aways allowed at present) the poha stall owned packed the poha and we ate it elsewhere. "We cleaned our shop today to get ready for Monday" said a fast food joint owner in Chappan Dukan. "Many people seem still conscious about getting infected and are avoiding coming out of their homes' said a salon owner in Vijay Nagar area.

Indore: There was no mad rush of shoppers to the market on the first day of unlocking the city as many shopkeepers did not open their establishment - they were busy cleaning the dirt and grime that had accumulated during the past two months of lockdown. Also some shopkeepers were unaware that the administration had given permission for reopening the commercial establishment as the decision was taken late in the night. However small eateries did open up for business and did a roaring business throughout the day - selling poha jalebi sandwich and other tasty titbits. Similarly some shops in Sarafa Market Chappan Dukaan and other markets were opened by the shopkeepers but only for cleaning and making preparations for Monday which Sunday being closed due to weekend curfew.The shopkeepers said that it is very difficult to open shops at such short notice. "We cleaned our shop today to get ready for Monday" said a fast food joint owner in Chappan Dukan. With salons opening after a long time many time took time out to get the much-needed haircut. However the usual pre-Covid Saturday crowd was missing. "Many people seem still conscious about getting infected and are avoiding coming out of their homes said a salon owner in Vijay Nagar area.
