Ujjain: The condition of patients admitted in the black fungus ward of the District Hospital suddenly deteriorated on Thursday night. Patients and their kin alleged that they suffered from vomiting allergic reaction and other issues after they were administered injection of a different company. The medics panicked and rushed to remove the saline drips attached to the patients in an attempt to tackle the situation. Patients of black fungus are under treatment in the District Hospital. Until Thursday these patients were being administered Amphotericin injections of Gilead Company. But on Thursday Amphotericin injection of Mephob-L was administered to the patients. Since then the condition of the patients started deteriorating. All the patients reported almost the same issues including vomiting anxiety shivering and fever. Throughout the night the patients and their families remain perturbed as their calls to the higher ups of the hospital management remained unanswered.
