Man gives contract for killing wife’s paramour in Indore, arrested with killers

INDORE: Solving the mystery behind the murder of a man in Ayodhyapuri Colony, MIG police on Thursday arrested three persons, including a man who had raised a contract of Rs 5 lakh for the killing his wife's paramour. The deceased disregarded Imroz's warning following which the latter decided to get him eliminated.Police have booked the accused for murder. Salman and Sadiq followed Majid for a month and pounced on him on September 13, when he was alone and moving through an isolated stretch of the road.Police arrested Islamuddin, Imroz and Salman. Majid frequented the woman even after the marriage.Imroz had once caught both of them in a compromising position and had warned Majid to stop visiting his wife. Sadiq is believed to have fled to Bhopal and is yet to be arrested.Imroz later revealed to the investigators that his wife had an affair with Majid before their marriage.

Majid , 25, a resident of Krishnabagh Colony, was stabbed to death near an open ground behind Press Complex on September 13.Eyewitnesses claimed that Majid was moving on a motorcycle, when he was accosted by two persons on another bike. They stabbed him on the torso multiple times and fled the spot.The police had launched a probe into the murder and were going through the call records and CCTV footages of the area, when they found clues of the perpetrators. The investigators also got a tip-off about the deceased fostering an enmity with one Islamuddin Teli, 28, a resident of Ahmed Nagar, Khajrana.During interrogation, Islamuddin confessed that he had helped one Imroz Khan, 29, to raise the contract against Majid and recruit one Salman Khan and Sadiq of Khajrana area.The killers demanded Rs 5 lakh, to which Imroz agreed, said Vijay Sisodiya, MIG police station in-charge. Salman and Sadiq followed Majid for a month and pounced on him on September 13, when he was alone and moving through an isolated stretch of the road.Police arrested Islamuddin, Imroz and Salman.
