Body of 30-year-old missing man found floating in well

INDORE: Body of a 30-year-old missing man was found floating in a well in Ishaq Colony of Khajrana area. "Imran went missing on September 16 and his family members have lodged a complaint. The body the deceased was sent for postmortem examination and handed over to the family members. "We are in the process of questioning his family members to know why he took the extreme step. Police said that the possibility of murder could not be ruled out.The incident came to the fore on Wednesday morning when some locals found the body of a man floating in the well.

They alerted the police and senior officials rushed to the spot with forensic and crime experts."Records were checked and the deceased was identified as Imran , son of Maqbool ," Kamlesh Sharma, Khajrana police station in-charge told TOI.He had sustained some injuries on his face that looked like he might be attacked by animals, said the forensics experts.Imran's family members said that they had approached police two days ago after he went missing from his house."Imran went missing on September 16 and his family members have lodged a complaint. Imran used to work at a tiles manufacturing factory. He had no enemies and we cannot imagine who could kill him," said Imran's father Maqbool.Investigating officer said that though prima facie it appeared as if the man had committed suicide, possibility of him being murdered also cannot be ruled out."We are in the process of questioning his family members to know why he took the extreme step. We have registered a case of murder and further investigation is on," said Sharma while speaking to TOI. The body the deceased was sent for postmortem examination and handed over to the family members.
