ITANAGAR: In a suspected child trafficking case, four minor girls have been reportedly missing from Wakro in Lohit district of Arunachal Pradesh.According to an FIR lodged at Tezu police station by the mother of one of the missing children, the girls went missing on the evening of March 21. The missing girls have been identified as Kumalsi Pul (12), Anjalu Ngadong (16), Ashilu Yun (15) and Kambli Chetry (14).A case has been registered at Tezu police station under section 363/367 of the IPC and an investigation is on by Wakro Police Station inspector Thomas Pertin . The Cultural and Literary Society of Mishmis (Calsom), a prominent social organization of the Mishmi community, has urged police to launch investigation into the case at the earliest. "We request the investigating team to probe every possible angle in their effort to trace the girls to ensure their safe return to their homes," the Calsom said in a statement on Tuesday.
